Latest News
The long distance route will be officially opened on May 23rd at the Brynfynnon hotel in Llanwunno. There will be a walk along the route from Dare Valley Country Park led by Groundwork Merthyr RCT. We will also be running a ride at 11am from The Falcon in Cwmaman to the Brynfynnon for the launch.
There will be an organised fun ride along the route in September.
Maps of the route will be handed out on launch day. Please email briarsbridleways@yahoo.co.uk if you would like a map and they will be posted out to you when available.
Events
There will be a number of events in the summer including a dressage day, showjumping event,
riding club camp and fun ride.

Abercwmboi Wetlands Park
Work at the wetlands park is almost complete and the tracks have been resurfaced. Horse steps will be erected shortly. The tracks are available for use by horse riders, cyclists and walkers.
